How to install:

I
VENT OUT™ 
FOR ROOF
MOUNTING
TO 4” ROUND
DUCTS:

  1. Drill or cut  a 4’’ round hole or 4” x 4” square hole in the roof sheeting from inside the attic.
     

  2. From inside the structure Insert the shorter end of the VENT OUT™ into the hole and lay flange tight against the plywood.Secure to the plywood with 1/2” or longer size screws through at least four of the six pre-drilled holes.
     

  3. Slip inner duct over the ant-slip ring around the VENT OUT™. Tightly secure inner duct with a zip-tie. 
     

  4. Pull the insulation up over the already secured flexible duct and secure it with a zip-tie. 
     

  5. Attach the other end of the flexible or metal duct to the ventilation fan or dryer.
     

  6. DURING ROOFING: Roofer at time of installing the roofing will remove the disposable cap of the VENT OUT™ and install a permanent vent cap over the hole.

 

 

 

Note:

Procedure is the same for 6”, 8” or 10” ducts.
