  1. Drill or cut a 4.25’’ round hole or 4.25” x 4.25” square hole in the structural member like plywood or exterior wall material.

  2. From inside of the structure insert long end of the VENT OUT into the exterior hole and lay flange tight against the wood.  Secure flange to the wall with ½” or longer size screws through at least four of the six pre-drilled holes.

Slide duct onto the VENT OUT™ tube and stop at the annti-slip ring. Secure with two or more screws

  4. Attach the other end of the flexible or metal duct to the ventilation fan or dryer duct. FOR METAL DUCTS: at least a one foot section of flexible duct is needed to attach the metal duct to facilitate adjustability and fit.

  5. DURING SIDING INSTALLATION:
Your siding contractor will push the
VENT OUT into place to fit the distance between the siding material and the exterior vent caps.

  6. Siding contractor will remove the disposal cap of the VENT OUT and install the permanent vent cap over the tube, and to the structure.
